Ordering, Returns, and Exchanges

NOTE: Do not return any item without contacting us to get a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). Some items need to be returned to specific warehouses. Please allow us to give you shipping instructions before any return.



When shopping for a Halloween costume, if you are unsure of which size to purchase, it is advisable to purchase one size larger than you would normally buy. This is because sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and some costumes tend to run on the smaller side of their respective size.



Orders placed at are typically processed within 2 BUSINESS DAYS OR LESS after the order is placed. Therefore, orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday would be processed by Monday or Tuesday. The order will be processed first, then shipped via whichever shipping method you chose at checkout. However, during the busy Halloween season including the entire month of October, we strive to ship orders very quickly. If you need to cancel your order please do so by email within 2 hours of placing your order or before the order is processed. During the entire month of October, once and order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled because we will begin processing the order quickly including printing picking slips, etc. You still have the option to return the order as per our return policy. Orders with an expedited shipping method cannot be canceled after being placed because they are processed sooner and may be shipped out before they are marked as processed. Once the order is processed and marked fulfilled the order cannot be cancelled, as it has been pulled, processed and shipped. Please see our return policy if this is the case.



Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.



Items cannot be returned or exchanged after October 15th. For example: If you purchase an item October 7th you have until October 15th to return or exchange that item (with a confirmed post mark no later than Oct. 15th). During the non-busy Halloween season (Nov. 16 - Oct. 15,  there is a 10 calendar day return policy on all items starting on the date of receipt based on the tracking number provided. Please inspect your purchase immediately upon receipt. After 10 days, under no circumstances will returns be accepted for "damaged" or "missing" items.

Returns have the following conditions:

1. Merchandise must be in like new condition to receive a full refund. Items returned used, opened, damaged or missing packaging materials such as bags, paper inserts or other original packaging will not be processed for a refund and additional shipping charges will be required to ship the used items back to you.

2. Opened blister pack items cannot be returned unless defective.

3. Defective items will be replaced with the SAME item only. If that item is out of stock a store credit in the form of a gift card by email will be issued.

4. No returns of any kind are accepted on makeup items, intimate wear such as lingerie or hosiery, items that go in the mouth such as gold teeth or glowing mouth pieces, etc.

5. Once an RMA is issued, we must receive your item within 10 calendar days, after which the RMA expires and a refund cannot be issued. Please read below for further information on obtaining an RMA.

Shipping charges are not refundable. We do not pay for postage on returns.

Please note: If we accept your return after the 10 calendar day for non-damaged items, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your return and issued as a refund to your original payment method.

NEW 2021 UPDATE: All returns carry a restocking fee of 20% as items must be destroyed due to the current pandemic.



The following procedures must be followed or the return will be refused. Please include the original printed email or online invoice. To obtain a refund for a non-defective product, you must return the product factory sealed. You must obtain a "RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA)" Number from before returning a product; please use the "contact us" feature and state your order number and that you wish to return your item. Wait until you receive a response with an RMA. Once you have the RMA, please send the item back within 10 calendar days, otherwise the return will not be honored. We will not accept any returns without an RMA. The RMA number must be written on your return Package. Any products returned without an RMA# will not be accepted for return processing. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PRODUCT NOT RETURNED IN THE MANNER STATED ABOVE AND YOU WILL NEED TO PAY FOR POSTAGE IF YOU WISH TO GET THE RETURN BACK.

However, please note that we may provide a different return shipping address to you depending on the item purchased. Please do not return items to this address without first contacting us to get the correct mailing address.


If an order is returned to us due to insufficient address and the address is the one provided by the customer at the time of order, we may issue a refund for the price of the item minus a 20% restocking fee. The original shipping price paid will not be refunded whatsoever as the item was shipped but was returned through no fault of Asylum Zone.



Shopping online should never require you to give up any privacy. At we believe in that wholeheartedly. We respect your rights to privacy, and if you decide to shop with us, the data stops here. Your personal information will never be sold or used by any other company in any way, shape, or form. We define "personal information" as your email address, home address, buying habits, company, phone number - anything that you provide to us as part of the purchase experience. We do not share any of this information with other companies. In fact, unlike many companies, we do not sell "personally unidentifiable" information. If you haven't heard of this yet, it is where companies sell their database, but they remove all "personally identifiable" information, usually leaving in things like zip codes, states, birthdates, etc. In summary, we don't sell any data, to any one, at any time.
